Daily Color — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 12, 2026
Contact: rolland@hey.com

Daily Color is a daily color-hunting game. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

1. The short version

Daily Color works entirely on your device by default. It has no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no developer-operated servers. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere unless you explicitly sign into a private, self-hosted server run by you or someone you know.

2. Data stored on your device

This data stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

3. Optional shared-feed sync (self-hosted server)

The app can optionally connect to a private server to share captures with friends. This feature is off by default and only activates if you enter a server address and sign in under Settings.

If you sign in:

Important: the server is chosen and operated by you or a person you trust — not by the developer. The developer of Daily Color does not run any server, and has no access to any data you sync. The privacy of synced data is governed by whoever operates the server you connect to. To have synced data corrected or deleted, contact your server's operator. Signing out in Settings removes your credentials and session from your device.

4. Data the developer collects

None. The developer collects no personal data, usage data, or diagnostics from this app.

5. Permissions

The app declares only the INTERNET permission, used solely for the optional self-hosted sync described above. Photos are taken via the system camera app, so Daily Color itself does not request camera permission.

6. Children

Daily Color is not directed at children under 13, and the app collects no data from any user.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date.
